Terms of Service.

The plain-English version of how a Rideline Pro subscription works — billing, cancellation, refunds, and who owns what.

The service

Rideline Pro is business management software for mobile sharpeners: customer management, geographic route planning, scheduling and rescheduling, inventory, invoicing, itemized billing, receipts, and QuickBooks exports. Subscriptions come in three plans — Basic, Pro, and Ultimate. We call them plans, and we mean it: pricing is per-route, not per-user. Pro and Ultimate include five logins; Basic includes two logins. Additional logins are $10 each per month.

Subscription and billing

  • All plans are month-to-month. There is no long-term contract.
  • Prices are as listed on the Pricing page: Basic $49/mo founding (first 10 members) / $79 standard; Pro $99/mo (1 route included) + $39/mo per additional route + $299 setup (client-list import up to 100 salons; $499 setup for up to 1,000 salons); Ultimate $149/mo + $999 setup, including import up to 1,000 salons (+ $39/mo per additional route).
  • Pro Kits (add-ons such as Messaging, with automated texts launching soon) are billed on top of your plan rate.
  • Annual option: pay for 11 months, get the 12th month free.

Price changes

Subscription prices may increase each January, starting January 2028, by 3 to 7 percent, with at least 60 days notice before the new rate takes effect. Founding member rates locked for life are exempt. If you pay annually, your current rate continues through your paid period and the new rate applies at your next period.

Free trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Your card is collected at checkout, and the first subscription charge lands on day 15 unless you cancel during the trial. Cancel during the trial and you are charged nothing, and access ends when the trial ends.

Setup and import

Done-for-you setup includes importing the client list you provide, as you provide it. Import quality depends on the data sent: you are responsible for reviewing the imported list before launch and flagging errors. We correct anything we transcribed or mapped incorrectly; errors present in your source data are yours to catch in that review, and records can be edited in the system at any time. Salon counts in the setup prices refer to the import service only — accounts are not capped, and you may add salons yourself without limit.

Cancellation

  • You can cancel anytime.
  • When you cancel, your service continues through the end of the paid term you've already paid for.
  • No cancellation fee. We don't believe in holding people hostage.

After cancellation

If you cancel, your records are kept for 60 days after your service ends. If you return within those 60 days, your records are intact. If you do not return within 60 days, your records are expunged. Returning accounts pay the subscription rates current at the time of return.

Refunds

Billing is in whole months — nothing is pro-rated below one month. Your subscription runs through the period you've paid for: you can cancel anytime and your service continues to the end of the paid term, with a minimum of the first 30 days paid.

Month-to-month plans are not refunded. Annual plans (pay 11 months, get 12): if you cancel after the first 30 days, we'll pro-rate a refund of the remaining unused whole months. Setup fees on Pro and Ultimate are never refundable.

Founding rate

The first 10 Basic members keep the founding rate of $49/mo, locked for life — as long as the account stays active. Let the account lapse or cancel, and the founding rate is gone.

Acceptable use

  • You're responsible for your logins. Keep your credentials private; activity on your account is your responsibility. Tell us promptly if you believe your login has been compromised.
  • Don't misuse the service: no illegal activity, no attempts to break or abuse the system, and no using it to spam or harm anyone.
  • If we find misuse, we may suspend or close the account — but we'll talk to you first whenever that's practical.

Your data

Your customer data remains yours. The customers, appointments, invoices, and records you enter in Rideline Pro are your business data, and your data is exportable — you can take it with you. And on Ultimate, you own your custom domain: it stays registered to you, not to us. See also our Privacy Policy for how we protect your information.

Information about other people

Your business records remain yours. But personal information about an individual, names, addresses, phone numbers, and the like, belongs to that individual, and when you store it in Rideline Pro you hold it as a custodian. We do not verify the accuracy of information you enter; keeping it accurate is your responsibility. Only enter personal information you have a legitimate business reason to hold. You must protect it with reasonable safeguards, and you must not use Rideline Pro to collect information about people for harassment, stalking, fraud, spam, or any other unlawful purpose.

Data breaches

If we discover a breach of your business data, we will notify you promptly and tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.

Availability

Rideline Pro is a web application that requires cellular connectivity. There is no offline mode. If you're out of coverage, the app won't work until you're back in range.

Who can use Rideline Pro

You must be 18 or older and authorized to sign up the business. One account per business. The information you give us must be accurate.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your business data, for keeping it accurate, and for following the laws that apply to your business, including tax laws and privacy laws. You are responsible for anything done under your logins.

License to use

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Rideline Pro for your own business while your subscription is active. You may not copy, resell, rent, or reverse-engineer the software, or use it to build a competing product.

Our software

Rideline Pro, its design, branding, and content are ours. Your business data stays yours, as stated above.

Third-party services

Rideline Pro runs on third-party services for payments (Square, Stripe), email (Brevo), and hosting (Cloudflare). Their terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their outages or for fees they charge beyond what we charge you.

Security

We protect your business data with reasonable technical safeguards. Each account's data is isolated: one account cannot see another account's data.

Taxes

Subscription prices do not include taxes unless shown at checkout. You are responsible for taxes on your own business income.

Warranties

Rideline Pro is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every need of your business.

Liability

Our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages.

Indemnification

You agree to cover claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, your business data, or your violation of these terms or the law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account for nonpayment, misuse, or illegal activity, with notice when practical. If we close your account for cause, service ends at that point; otherwise the cancellation rules above apply.

Legal requests

We may disclose your data if required by law or court order. When we can, we will tell you first unless the law prohibits it.

Communications

By giving us your email address and phone number, you agree we may contact you about your account, billing, and service updates. Marketing messages are optional, and you can opt out of them at any time.

Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features as the product grows. For a material removal, we will give notice when practical.

Feedback

If you suggest improvements, we may use them without paying you or crediting you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, and disputes will be handled in the courts of South Carolina.

General

These terms are the whole agreement between us for Rideline Pro. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. You may not transfer your account without our permission. We may assign these terms in connection with a sale or merger of the business, with notice to you. Nothing here creates a partnership or employment relationship.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We'll flag significant changes here so you can see what moved.
